Join the Team – New Opportunities for a New Season!

Hi, we’re Owen and Laura! We’re really looking forward to moving to Swansea this summer and beginning a new chapter of life and ministry at St Thomas.

As we step into this exciting season, we’re also hoping to grow the team - and we’re currently recruiting for the following roles:

Children and Families Pastor

The Children and Families Pastor will help make St Thomas a place where families feel welcome and children can encounter Jesus and grow in faith. They will lead Sunday groups, support volunteer teams, oversee the Tiny Toms Toddlers group, and build strong links with local schools through assemblies, clubs, and mentoring. They will also help nurture a culture of safeguarding and ensure that laughter, creativity, and fun are central to our church family life.

Student Pastor

The Student Outreach Pastor will help St Thomas be a welcoming and engaging resource for students and young adults exploring faith. They will build a vibrant Christian presence at Swansea University’s Bay Campus, lead groups like Alpha, organise community events and trips, meet with students for encouragement, and help connect their energy and passion with the wider social mission of the church.

Administrator and Media Lead

The Administrator will be the friendly first point of contact for St Thomas, offering support with wisdom and pastoral sensitivity. They will help shape our visual identity through website, social media, and print materials, manage the church diary and communications, support office operations, maintain effective systems, and ensure a warm, hospitable welcome for visitors and room bookings.
